I am a previously disadvantaged South African. After the 1994 elections - we have had a relatively peaceful transition.Why is it working in South Africa and not in Israel?
Yes SA has still got a long way to go i agree but al least we are working towards something.
Just to give you an example of what used to happened here:
*there was no free movement
*The best part of the country was reserved for the racists
*one had to carry an id all the time
*separate public areas - toilets,parks,beaches etc
* Arrested on suspicion
* No compulsory education for the majority
* separate homelands,hospitals
* All good jobs reserved for whites……
and i could go on and on…
The above sounds just like the current Israel.
Why can’t the international community put pressure on Israel -
There were sanctions put in place in SA & our country was isolated by the International communities .SA is proof it is working
Until this does not happen in Israel - peace will never reign.
